His professional activities share a common theme – bettering the community. As a Professor at the nationally recognized School of Business & Industry at Florida A&M University, he accomplished this by instilling in his students superior technical skills and a strong sense of community responsibility. As a business attorney and consultant he has been a key player in numerous domestic and international business start-ups, real estate projects, economic development initiatives, and community revitalization plans.
He is co-founder and principal of Gragg Cardona Partners, LLC. He is a graduate of both the Florida State University College of Law, and the University of Miami College of Law.
Upon graduating from Catholic University School of Architecture, he went on to teach environmental education at a community-based learning center in Washington DC. From there he became a development manager specializing in affordable housing with a non-profit development consultant. He was responsible for managing the development and construction of over 230 units of affordable housing. Juan has been committed to working to support entrepreneurship and economic development in the community. Juan holds a graduate certificate from The Leadership Development Program and a Beta Gamma Sigma graduate of Masters of Science of Real Estate and Infrastructure at the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.
Before moving to Washington D.C. from Florida, Haaziq served as community liaison for the Community Development Corporation of Delray Beach, FL, where he was responsible for organizing community participation in neighborhood redevelopment charrettes and negotiating with other city stakeholders on the neighborhood’s behalf. Haaziq also worked for the Palm Beach County Public School District, as an Assistant Director in their School Age Child Care Program. After Haaziq moved to the District in 2002, he moved into a management role as the Director of Operations for a local mid-sized parking company. He is co-founder and principal of Gragg Cardona Partners, LLC and Park USA DC, LLC. Haaziq holds an Associates Degree in Mental Health, from Montgomery College.
Prior to joining GCP as Partner, Oussama Souadi was a senior program manager with Amec Foster Wheeler where he managed multiple high profile projects and programs for Duke Energy, USPS, and other federal clients. Oussama also held the role of associate principal at Gauthier Alvarado and Associates, a Fairfax Virginia A/E firm, serving a wide variety of federal, state, and local government clients as well as commercial clients. His responsibilities included management and delivery of consulting, design, and construction administration/ support services, while leading business strategic planning and development efforts, and negotiating proposals and contracts. His project management experience also includes serving as a client representative responsible for quality assurance on projects completed by third party design and construction firms.
Mr. St. Paul has extensive experience developing, acquiring and managing residential rental properties and mixed-use development throughout Maryland and Washington, DC. Since 1994, he has successfully operated many small and mid-sized residential rental properties and has added value to those properties through superior asset management, strategic capital improvements and general repositioning. He is a member of the Gragg Cardona Partners development team for St. Elizabeth’s East Campus redevelopment in Washington, D.C. He served for many years as Chairman of the Landlord Advisory Committee of Prince George’s County and has significant experience operating affordable housing communities.
